Fay and Peter’s story begins at the Bluebird where they met at a bluegrass show, and their mutual love of mandolins, fiddles and the upright bass sparked a flame. They further connected over their love for rivers and mountains, and after a few years of outdoor adventuring with their dog and attending countless bluegrass shows, they got engaged and married in the mountains!
Fay and Peter first met David Schlichter when they rented a Curtis Park home from him and his wife Jessa in 2014. Shortly before they tied the knot, they worked with David and Tom Pitzer to purchase their first home in Baker, which was perfect for their downtown commute and offered a quick escape to the mountains.
After five years of living in Baker, Tom helped the couple find an amazing updated bungalow in Park Hill, and they moved to the east side of Denver in 2020. The strong community in Park Hill quickly made the neighborhood feel like home, but with the addition of a new, smaller adventure buddy, they realized a little more space was needed. Earlier this fall, they worked with Tom again to find their forever house in Park Hill, and David worked his magic to get their prior Park Hill bungalow under contract in just a few short days for over the asking price.
